RE: Ritz Presents the Take Me Out to the
Ballgame…Sliding Into Spring Movie Series

GA, February 1, 2021, – Batter up! Our Take Me Out to the Ballgame…Sliding Into
Spring Movie Series at the Historic Ritz Theatre begins Friday, February 5th
at 10:00 am and 7:00pm with the 2002 award-winner, The Rookie, followed on Friday, February 12th with Field of Dreams.
When Iowa farmer Ray hears a mysterious voice one
night in his cornfield saying "If you build it, he will come," he
feels the need to act. Despite taunts of lunacy, Ray builds a baseball diamond
on his land, supported by his wife, Annie. Afterward, the ghosts of great
players start emerging from the crops to play ball, led by "Shoeless"
Joe Jackson. But, as Ray learns, this field of dreams is about much more than
bringing former baseball greats out to play. The movie is rated PG and stars
Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, James Earl Jones, and Amy Madigan.
