Toccoa, GA – April 25, 2019 – Main Street Toccoa and The Ritz Theatre are very pleased to welcome the Huntertones on Thursday, May 16 th at 7 pm, as part of its Night at the Ritz series.

The Huntertones bring people together around the globe with music that is fun, imaginative and
fearless. Their high energy, horn-driven sound fuses improvisation and adventurous composition,
melding jazz, funk, rock and soul. Since their 2013 move from Ohio to New York City, Huntertones have released two albums, toured across the US and Europe, and have served as musical ambassadors in South America, Africa, and Eastern Europe through the American Music Abroad Program.

Night at the Ritz, a regular event series at the Historic Ritz Theatre, is funded, in part, by a generous
grant received from the National Endowment for the Arts, Georgia Council for the Arts, and the Fox
Theatre Institute. Tickets for all shows may be purchased online at www.ritztheatretoccoa.com or at the Toccoa Welcome Center. Adult tickets are $10, children under 12 and students with an ID are $5.

RE: TFC Jazz Band Performs at the Historic Ritz Theatre on May 3rd

Toccoa, GA – April 22, 2019 – Main Street Toccoa is pleased to welcome Toccoa Falls College’s Jazz Band and the Toccoa Jazz to the Ritz Theatre on Friday, May 3rd at 7pm. Admission for this concert is free.

Audiences will enjoy a variety of jazz styles performed by the TFC Jazz Band with songs including “Strike Up the Band,” Chuck Mangione’s “Children of Sanchez,” and Duke Ellington’s “Take the A Train” and “Cottontail." The Toccoa Jazz performance will feature swing favorites including “Jump, Jive, and Wail,” “American Patrol,” and “Jumpin’ at the Woodside.” The Bands will also combine to perform Shorty Rogers’ “Saturnian Sleigh Ride.” Come to the Ritz and enjoy the cool sounds of jazz floating through the Toccoa night air!

Celebrate the Blue & Red!

Celebrate the Blue and Red

Toccoa, GA – April 16, 2019 – Each year the Georgia Municipal Association celebrates Georgia
Cities Week as an opportunity to showcase and celebrate cities and the services they provide.

This year the theme is “Georgia’s Cities True Colors” and will be held April 21 – 27. As part of
the state wide event, Toccoa will be celebrating our local heroes - our police officers and
firefighters - on April 26. After visiting the children at Big A Elementary School, there will be a
"Meet & Greet" for the whole community on Doyle Street outside of the police station from
3:30pm - 5:30pm.

Everyone is invited to come and “Celebrate the Blue and Red” and meet some of
our police officers and firefighters and thank them for their service to our community.

RE: Ritz Presents: Out of the World! Spring Movies 2019

TOCCOA, GA, April 15, 2019 – Main Street Toccoa is happy to announce the next Spring
movie, Back to the Future, on Friday, April 19, 2019. Screenings are at 10am and 7pm.

The Out of this World! movies at the Ritz take place on Fridays in April at the Historic Ritz
Theatre in Downtown Toccoa. Showtimes are at 10am and 7pm, and tickets and concessions are
only $1. The remaining April movie will be ET: The Extra-Terrestrial on April 26th.
