RE: Ritz Presents: Last Summer Movie
Toccoa,
GA, August 24, 2020, – Our summer movie series comes to end
Saturday, August 29th with the award winning tale of abolitionist
Harry Tubman in Harriet showing at
10am and 2pm at the Historic Ritz Theatre.
The movie tells the true-life story of Harriet Tubman,
who after escaping slavery herself in 1849, led dangerous missions that helped
free hundreds of slaves through the Underground Railroad. The film starring
Cynthia Erivo, Janelle Monae, and Leslie Odom Jr, won numerous awards and was
critically acclaimed. It is rated PG-13.
Because of social distancing guidelines each show time
will be limited to the first 100 guests. Hand sanitizer will be available
throughout the theatre and face masks are encouraged. The theatre will be
cleaned and disinfected between each showing.
As always, tickets and concessions are just $1 each
