Date: November 15, 2019

Toccoa, GA – November 15, 2019   It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas. Country duo Wilson Fairchild is bringing their Christmas show to Toccoa for a Night at the Ritz performance on Saturday, December 7th at 7:00pm at the Historic Ritz Theatre.

The musical duo, made up of Wil and Langdon Reid are often referred to as “the Reid boys.” They get their “entertainment chops” honestly. Wil’s dad is Harold Reid and Langdon’s dad is Don Reid of the legendary Statler Brothers.  The duo have been writing, performing, and playing music together their whole lives. In 2007, Wil and Langdon wrote a tribute to the Statlers simply called “The Statler Brothers Song.” They were asked to be a part of the medallion ceremonies and to perform the song for all of their “Statler dads” when the Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

From the last few years to the present, Wil and Langdon keep adding successes to their resume, as well as friends and fans to their Facebook page. Their engaging personalities coupled with their musical talent and impromptu wit is a perfect match for any audience. For 3 1/2 years, they opened the show for the one and only George Jones, graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, and been featured on Larry’s Country Diner on RFD-TV.

Night at the Ritz, a regular event series at the Historic Ritz Theatre, is funded in part, by generous grants received from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Georgia Council for the Arts.  Tickets for this event are available at the Toccoa/Stephens County Welcome Center, on our website, ritztheatretoccoa.com or at the box office night of show.  For more information on the Wilson Fairchild Country Christmas Show or Night at the Ritz, please contact Ritz Theatre General Manager Tami Mayhugh @tmayhugh@cityoftoccoa.com or via phone at 706.244-0039.
