RE: Summer Movies at the Schaefer Center and the
Beginning of the Ida Cox Music Series
TOCCOA,
GA, May 31, 2016 – Main Street Toccoa is beginning its
summer events this week. The Summer Movies at the Schaefer Center begins this
Thursday, June 2. From this week onward, movies will play at 10 A.M. and 7 P.M.
every Thursday through June and July. Admission and concessions are only $1
each. The series begins with Cinderella,
and will continue with Ant-Man, The Peanuts Movie, and Jurassic World, among
others.
Additionally, every Saturday in June and July, Toccoa
will be celebrating its annual Ida Cox Music Series. The Ida Cox Music Series
begins this Saturday, June 4 at 7 P.M. with Toccoa Jazz, a local favorite,
performing. Genres during this event series range from Jazz, to Soul, to
Bluegrass, to Rock-and-Roll, and more. Bring a lawn chair and come downtown
beginning this Saturday.
