Main Street Awards 2016

The Toccoa Main Street Program will hold its annual Main Street Awards Reception on Thursday, January 28, 2016.  The reception will be held at the Schaefer Center, located at 139 Doyle St beginning at 5:00 p.m. with light refreshments.  This year the program will consist of a Volunteer Recognition Ceremony and an Awards Program beginning at 5:15 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m.

The Downtown Development Authority will review 2015 downtown revitalization efforts during the program.  They will also present awards to downtown business owners, property owners, and volunteers who have exemplified outstanding service and investment in the downtown area. 

“If you would like to know more about what is happening in downtown Toccoa, then you will want to mark your calendar to attend the next Main Street Awards Reception.  It is a wonderful avenue to meet the volunteers who assist in the downtown revitalization efforts, a great way to get involved, and to become better informed,” stated Connie Tabor, director of the Main Street Toccoa Program.
