Thank You Volunteers

The Toccoa Record is doing a special on volunteers in today's paper.  So we just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all our volunteers for everything you do for us!  We rely on volunteers to get so much done.  Our Downtown Development Authority, Historic Preservation Commission, and the Toccoa Planning Commission as well as the Promotions Committee all are staffed by volunteers.  The Promotions Committee helps to plan over 20 events per year.  We want to thank their employers who allow them the flexibility to serve our community.  There is no way we could put on our two biggest events of the year, A Taste of Toccoa and Harvest Festival, without all of our amazing volunteers.

Sorry for the long delay between posts.  For any of you in the working world I'm sure you understand how things can get in the way.  I will try very hard to keep this blog updated now with what is happening.  While March is a slow month for events, we will have some exciting news coming about the Schaefer Center.  We have become active on many social media sites so we hope you like like and follow us in order to receive the most up to date information!
